Friday 5th October was the annual BBC Music Day.
This year there was a focus on the work of choirs across the UK, so we were invited to go on the BBC Radio Leeds Breakfast show and talk to Richard Stead about the launch of our choir.
A group of our choir members and our Director Maria Mullin went live on air bright and early.
We sang live on the radio and got to talk about the first few exciting weeks of our new choir. It was fantastic to play a part in this national BBC event.
We are looking forward to working with BBC Radio Leeds again later in the year on further events.
